Rep. Beyer testifies before the House Consumer Affairs Committee December 16 in support of her caller ID spoofing legislation. House Bill 2064, which the committee passed unanimously, makes it illegal for a person attempting to defraud other parties to cause false caller identification information to be displayed on a recipient’s telephone.

The 131st Legislative District consists of Coopersburg Borough, Lower Milford and Upper Saucon Townships, portions of the city of Allentown and portions of Salisbury and Upper Milford Townships in Lehigh County and a portion of Lower Saucon Township in Northampton County.
